When I decided to get a new computer several months ago I had to decide between a desktop and a laptop. At the time I thought it made more sense to get a desktop because I was used to them and they were more reliable for making my graphics and stuff. But now that I’m really not able to do graphic art anymore I’m kind of wishing I had gotten the laptop. I’m not too disappointed with my computer choice because I really love my desktop computer. It’s also cool because I can always wait a few months and save up for a laptop. It would be nice to have both. I bet as soon as I buy the laptop I will have no need for it. That seems to be the way things work out for me. LOL

Happy Mother’s Day to all of the mother’s out there. Mother’s Day is one of the very few holidays that I buy into. Yes, I know it’s probably just another “Hallmark Holiday” and I don’t need a reason to celebrate my mom, but it’s nice that she gets her own day. I can’t wait until I become a mother so that I can enjoy this day as well. Our family is having a big Mother’s Day celebration today at my home. That should be fun… NOT. I’m kind of looking forward to the food and seeing my family, but I’m not looking forward to the noise and the damage the children are going to do to my home. Hopefully everyone will have a good time and my home will survive. I hope you guys have a great day as well!

My cousin had to quit her job recently because of problems with her coworkers and also problems that she had getting reliable childcare for her children. Right now she’s going back to school so she can try and get a better job than the one that she quit. The job that she wants requires some extra training so that’s what she’s in the process of taking care of right now. She keeps asking me if I know any ways for her to make extra money online while she goes to school. All of the things I suggest to her don’t seem to be of interest. I think she expects some incredible small business opportunities to just leap into her lap. I wish it was that simple. Trust me, if I came across some great small business opportunitites we’d both be signing up.

Have you ever thought about going on a diet but had no idea where to start? That’s how I always feel. LOL I say always because I make the grand declaration to go on a diet once a month but nothing ever comes of it. I guess I’m just meant to be the size that I am. Everyone thinks that I’m crazy for obsessing over dieting. I guess it is in my head. The real problem is my eating habits. I think if I ate better I would feel better. I’ve also considered taking diet pills but there are so many that I don’t know where to start with those either. I’ve been hearing a lot about Phentermine lately but next week it’ll be something else. I think that’s why I get so overwhelmed. There are just so many diets and diet pills to choose from. It’s hard to decide what will work!

I was working on a new design for my website and I was looking for some icons that I had but I couldn’t find them anywhere on my computer. I was about to get upset but then I remembered that when I changed computers I put a bunch of stuff on my external hard drive. Most of that stuff is still on there because I’ve been too lazy to move it over to the computer. One of these weekends I’m going to set some time aside to clean my computer and hard drive out. My computer still has tons of space available but I really hate having stuff lingering around that I don’t need. I really love this computer. The fact that hard drive space and system memory is no longer an issue like they were on my last computer makes me so happy!
