The Vista Craze

In my search for a new computer, I’ve been reluctant to trade in Windows XP for the new Windows Vista, but I’m starting to realize that it might not be such a bad idea. According to Microsoft, in the first month that Vista has been available, it’s sales were more than double the sales of Windows XP. Microsoft sold over 20 million Vista licenses in its first month. That compares to the first two months of XP sales, which reached 17 million licenses. I’m not sure if that says a lot, but it definitely says that the demand for Windows Vista is pretty high. So, we’ll see.

I got Vista because we got a new laptop (came with it) its okay so far.. but the people who worked there recommended Windows XP over Vista since its new and obviously there will be glitches.. so its advised that XP is the best so far! Your choice though ;) I was contemplating it myself as well..

Sometimes I wish I waited a few more months so my laptop would’ve had Vista installed for free. But oh well…right? I don’t think I’m missing out on that much and I hardly ever use any of the Windows features. I basically use Firefox, Winamp, Word and Notepad. I’m sure you’ll be fine with whichever you decide to get and it wont take you long to familiarize yourself with Vista if that is your choice.
