A.I. Inspirational Week

If you don’t want to know any spoilers about Tuesday’s American Idol, then don’t keep reading. :)

Tomorrow, or today since it’s after 12:00a, the six remaining Idol hopefuls will sing Inspirational Songs. I know when I found that out a few weeks ago, I thought they would sing Gospel songs or Christian music… NOT. I guess they really meant inspirational songs. Haha. Here’s the song listings and the alleged singing order. That by the way is the “spoiler”. ;)

  1. Chris Richardson will sing “If I Could Change The World” .
  2. Melinda Doolittle will sing “There Will Come A Day”.
  3. Blake Lewis will sing “Imagine”.
  4. LaKisha Jones will sing “I Believe”.
  5. Phil Stacey will sing “The Change”.
  6. Jordin Sparks will sing “You’ll Never Walk Alone”.

    Uh oh…I feared this when you said LaKisha would sing a Fantasia song. This is Fantasia’s biggest, and only worldwide hit. Everything else she does stayed on the R&B radar but this was a #1 song when it was first released. We will see what happens…

    And I think Jordin will do great. Rodger & Hammerstein wrote that song for the Carousel musical. I love Rodger & Hammerstein! They wrote the musical score for Cinderella (the one with Whitney and Brandy).
