The Internet, namely the black bloggers are up in arms with TMZ.com again. LOL. And to say this in advance, my mother is a black woman, so this isn’t even a race thing to me. But to them it is. At any rate, TMZ posted a story on their site titled “BET’s Fashion Fright Night” in which they talk about the fashions at this past Tuesday’s BET Awards. The specific comment that got the bloggers upset was “From Beyonce’s roboho performance getup to Eve’s streetwalker chic, check out why it’s time these artists hired new stylists and put the hip back into hip-hop!”. Um, why is that a race thing? TMZ has referred to others with the same language. Beyonce was dressed like a ho. She almost always has on some kind of slut attire for her performances. What’s wrong with what they said? I personally don’t think there was anything wrong with Eve’s dress, but the shoes along with the dress did have a certain streetwalker appeal. Live with it. Stop making everything a race issue. I guess black people are still sensitive about black women being called hos after the Dom Imus thing. SMH. Those girls didn’t deserve it. These girls… yeah.

I would imagine that an Orlando cosmetic surgeon would get a lot of work. If I lived in Florida where it was so hot and everyone was running around every day in bikinis, I’d probably feel tempted to get a little nip tuck. Even Dr. Clevens who’s a facial cosmetic surgeon probably sees a lot of patients who want to get nose jobs and other procedures to make themselves look and feel better. Living in Orlando, I bet there’s a lot of people wanting to get skin resurfacing done. Especially portrait skin regeneration and chemical peels. The sun in Florida makes you need it.

One place in Florida that I wouldn’t mind visiting is Tampa. Tampa doesn’t really get as much attention as other places in Florida such as Miami or even Orlando, but I think it’s a pretty good place to visit. I know Tampa might not be on a lot of people minds when they think of a Florida vacation, but I guess that’s why I would like to vacation there. I’m sure I would definitely save money by staying in one of Tampa Hotels. Not only that, but Tampa does have some really great places to visit.

One of the places I would love to visit in Tampa is Busch Gardens in Tampa Bay. I remember when I was younger my family went there and I didn’t have the chance to go with them, but they had tons of great photos that made me wish that I did go. Busch Gardens has a lot of attractions that I’d love to see, especially Adventure Island. I would definitely have to learn to swim before I went there though. I would also love to see if they have any monkeys there. I know I’ve seen some animals on the commercials and on their website. The fourth of July would be a great time to visit Tampa and enjoy this great place.

The Spice Girls are back! Whatev! Don’t act like you’ve never listened to any of their songs. You probably even have a couple on your I-Pod or *ahem* Winamp. I honestly was never a huge Spice Girls fan, but I do love like 5 of their songs and I don’t care who knows. I really could care less that they’re reuniting their horrible voices to go on a tour that they’ll most likely lip sync on, but for nostalgic purposes I’m kind of giddy. I wonder who their audience will be. I listened to them when I was tiny, but I wont be paying to hear them sing those same songs now. SMH. With all that said screw the rest of those chicks. Mel B FTW. She looks amazing after just having a baby 2 months ago. She looks better then she ever has. Wow.

I myself have never had any credit cards, but almost everyone that I know has one or more of them. I notice one thing that a lot of people do is use one credit card to pay off another. I think that comes from people not taking the time to compare credit cards and research them before they get them. I’m the kind of person who researches and over analyzes everything before I can settle on it. I don’t think most people take credit cards that serious though. Most just look for interest free credit cards or credit cards that offer rewards and that’s it. That’s definitely not the way to go about deciding on something that will effect your credit for the rest of your life.
