I’ve never been to Philadelphia, but it sure is one place that I would love to visit. I used to dream a lot about visiting Philly a couple of years ago when Allen Iverson was playing for Philadelphia, because I’m a huge basketball fan and he’s my favorite player. I was so happy when I found out that my family was moving to Pennsylvania and I couldn’t wait to visit. Imagine my disappointment when I found out that they were moving far away from Philly. Needless to say, I never got to see Allen Iverson play in Philadelphia.

Of course I could have just looked for Philadelphia Hotels online and stayed in one of them. But that thought never entered my mind. I still think a lot about visiting Philly and checking out some of the great sites. The thing I’m looking forward to the most though is an official Philadelphia cheese steak!

I was browsing SideStep.com and I was very surprised to find out that it’s not expensive at all to stay in a Philadelphia hotel. That means not only can I visit Philly, but I can definitely stay for a few days without spending too much. I wonder where I’ll visit first. Allen Iverson is no longer there, but I bet I’ll still have an amazing time!

I can’t believe how crazy people are still going for Harry Potter. As if the two block lines at Barnes & Noble weren’t bad enough, there’s always some lame Daniel Radcliffe news on ONTD every day. I don’t know, maybe I’m just hating. I guess if I was in to wizardry, spirits, devil worship and the like, I would probably be as geeked as everyone else, but I’m not. i really don’t see the appeal of it. But then again, I’ve never seen Harry Potter or any of the other movies that make people go crazy. For instance, Star Wars and the Matrix. i’d see those before I see Harry Potter though.

I have two close family members who are recurring addicts and have been fighting addiction for some time. Both of them were lucky enough to find a great drug rehab to help them with their battle and they both have been clean for over ten years. I was reading online that mini Oprah aka Tyra Banks has signed a deal with the CW network to extend America’s Next Top Model until around 2010. OK, normally I would be happy about that because ANTM used to be one of my favorite shows. However, lately the show has lost a lot of steam and kind of sucks. I really did not care for the last couple of seasons. Of course I still watched it, but I’m saying. I think Caridee and Jas’ seasons were the worst. Hopefully Tyra will make some changes to the photo shoots and a few other things. I still think the CW should have renewed Veronica Mars. No, I wont let it go.
