Traveling Smart

I was taking to my friend about going on a trip and I was telling them that I only like to pack the bare necessities when going on a short vacation, especially when you’re flying because the airport likes to lose luggage a lot. My friend insisted that it’s OK to bring 4 bags and not worry about them being lost. No way. Why would you bring four bags for a few days? That’s crazy. To me, bringing all of that unnecessary stuff is just asking for trouble.

Even if the airport doesn’t lose your luggage, who wants to worry about how safe all of your stuff is in a hotel. I think some people should use more common sense when traveling. Most people act as if they have travel insurance to protect them if their stuff is stolen or lost. I’d rather play it smart and take what I need. There’s a less chance of your stuff disappearing if you do that.

Methane Gas Detectors

I get really freaked out about gas like you wouldn’t believe. Anytime I smell gas I start panicking and checking every source that it could be coming from. I remember one time we smelled gas coming from our kitchen and them smell was there for a long time and we kept checking the stove, but the top stove burners were working properly. When my mother came home from work she smelled it, freaked out and called the fire department.

They came out and checked our kitchen. They told us that the power light to the stove was out. It had never occurred to us to check the top and bottom power lights. We apologized to him, but he said he’s glad we were smart enough to call instead of blowing ourselves up. Any kind of gas is just scary to me. If I had one of those methane gas detectors, I would be walking around every where pointing it. Better safe than sorry, I say!

So Long, Holidays

I can’t wait until the holidays are completely over. This has been an extremely exhausting month. I haven’t ever been into holidays the way other people are, so I didn’t really celebrate Christmas this year. I did give a few gifts and receive a few gifts, but that was about all. I also cooked a small dinner for my family. It was an enjoyable experience I guess. I can’t complain to much about that. The only think I have to look forward to now besides New Years is my birthday on January 16. Hopefully that will be better this year than it was last year. Happy Holidays, anyway!

Don’t Forget To Dialaflight

Have you ever been to Vancouver, British Columbia? I’ve never been, but it’s definitely a place that I’d love to visit. There are so many great things that you can do indoors and outdoors in Vancouver. One thing on the top of my list of things to do is visit the world famous Vancouver Aquarium. Where else can you go to see otters, octopus and various other sea creatures up close and personal? I’d also love to visit some of the fascinating exhibits at Science World. I love museums and exhibits, so this will be a fun attraction for me.

No matter what attractions I decide to see, I can save money on flights to Vancouver by booking my vacation with Dialaflight.com. Dialaflight is popular UK travel company that offers people the ability to book inexpensive flights and hotels for their vacations. In addition to flights and hotels, Dialaflight can also help you find a car to take you to your destination as well as provide you with travel ideas for what to do when you reach your dream destination.

If you’re thinking about visiting Vancouver or any of the great locations in the UK, make sure to book your flight with Dialaflight.

A Shot With Dani

I was watching this thing on TV yesterday and I saw Dani!! That would be Dani from A Shot At Love with Tila Tequila. I was so happy to see her. I was kind of disappointed when Tila didn’t pick her, but to be honest I think Dani is too good for Tila. Bobby probably is as well. They seem like such sweet people. I’m not really convinced that Tila likes to do more than make out with chicks, so it’s probably best that she didn’t pick Dani and just break her heart. Also on Tila’s Myspace she explained that she didn’t pick Dani because she liked her most of all and she’d rather be her friend so that she never loses her. That makes sense. Season 2 anyone?
