LifeLock for your Protection?

The other day my cousin received a letter stating that she had won 5,000$. When she went to the bank to cash the check she discovered that she was a victim of identity theft. Identity theft is something that effects millions of people every year and there are companies such as LifeLock that are trying to help protect consumers. Although consumers might appreciate that, credit reporting services aren’t too happy about it. In fact one of the largest credit reporting services in the world is suing to prevent LifeLock from doing its job. They claim that LifeLock doesn’t follow protection laws, but what they don’t tell you is that lifelock costs them money by issuing consumers fraud alerts. I don’t know about you, but I’m on the side of the company that’s willing to protect my interest. Who’s side are you on?

My love Leona has a new video! It’s not an official video for an official single, but I still love it. The video is for Leona’s song “Footprints in the Sand” and it’s being released in the UK to benefit a charity called Sport Relief. The video is very stripped down and definitely pulls on your heart strings. Check it out below. Leona looks gorgeous, as usual!

Safety Cutters

One day when I was much younger, I decided to go into my mom’s desk and get a razor blade to cut up my package of stickers. It was pretty hard to cut through the cardboard so I made the mistake of trying to apply force to the stickers while they were still in my hands. I cut myself pretty bad. I remember screaming out in pain and my mother running to me hysterical because of all of the blood.

Would you believe that ten years has passed and my mother still hides the razor blades from me. She always says that I’m not allowed to use razors or knives because that incident traumatized her so bad. I wonder how she would feel about me using safety cutters. They’re much safer than the razor blades that she’s so afraid of letting me use. I bet if I mentioned safety cutters to her she’d suggest buying them for me. That might be pretty cool!

Logo Design with LogoYes!

Over the past few years I’ve learned a lot about business. One of the most important business practices I’ve learned about is branding. A great way to have your company respected as a well established business is by using a logo that’s uniquely your own. I’m sure you’ve come across many businesses over the years that you recognize simply because of its logo. That’s why I’ve been considering having labels and business cards designed for my upcoming design company.

Since I’m not sure what I would like to use as a logo, I decided to visit the popular website logoyes.com and use their logo design creator. I was able to make a free custom logo design in less than 5 minutes. I love that I’m able to choose from a large variety of designs in over a dozen categories. You can even choose your own text font and color! Creating a matching logo with text and business card is fast and easy with logoyes.com.

The logo creator walks you through the whole process in about 6 easy steps. It gives you the ability to adjust the logo so that it meets your needs. Once I created a logo that I was satisfied with, LogoYes presented me with several different choices of business cards to choose from. I’ve included a few below for you to see. I’ve also included a video so that you can see how fast and easy the process is!

Shopping For Men

I know most women wouldn’t say this, but I love shopping for men. I think men are pretty easy to shop for. A lot of the time women have so many preferences so you never know what they’ll love. But men are more easy going. They usually like a few simple things. Even if you find a man that has a lot of preferences, they’re more likely to just tell you what they want. For some reason women insist on making you figure it out. Not me. If someone asks me what I want, I not only tell them, I’ll give them a list and descriptions too. That’s why I love shopping for men. If you know their personality, you can easily find the perfect gift for them. If all else fails, you can’t go wrong with men’s jewelry. What man wouldn’t want that?
