I was looking around my bedroom the other day and I decided that I need a more mature bed. I like the style of my bed and all but since my bed was purchased several years ago when I was still a teenager I feel that I’ve outgrown it. Interesting enough, I notice that my taste in furniture hasn’t changed much in all of these years. I still love platform beds, canopy beds, daybeds, etc. However, my mother keeps saying that I need to get a bed that’s more befitting of a young lady. I don’t want to! I like having a pink bed. I do think there’s a way that I can get a more adult style bed while still keeping the pink color that I love so much. Actually I don’t even think it’s the bed that’s the problem. Maybe I just need a more mature headboard! Hopefully I can find some middle ground to be happy with.

I love my new computer. It’s great. I’m really happy that I decided to buy this computer a few months ago because my whole online experience has been so much more pleasant. There was really nothing wrong with my old computer except for the fact that the four year warranty had expired so I was a little nervous using it during the summer and when it rained, and also I hated that my old computer had such a small internal hard drive and hardly any ram. The thing that bothered me the most was definitely the ram. I do a lot of different things on my computer and I need a computer that can handle performing many task. Because my old computer didn’t have much ram it would constantly freeze. I’m glad I decided to get this computer because it has three times as much ram and hard drive space!

I was watching one of my favorite design shows a short while ago and they were giving some couple a new kitchen. One of the cool things that they added in the kitchen was a wine rack. I’ve never actually seen a kitchen with a wine rack before. Well at least not the type that they had. The wine rack costs about a grand if I’m not mistaken. That’s even more than what my refrigerator cost. If I was to buy a win rack for my home it would be a really simple one. The one that the couple had was a combination wine rack and wine refrigerator. Maybe that’s why it was so expensive! I’d like to think that most wine racks don’t cost so much money!

I just did some shopping for some more bath and body products. I spent almost 100$ on the stuff and I was really feeling bad until I realized that I had already spent about 90$ the week before. Now I feel HORRIBLE. I’m sitting here spending money like I’m rich. Maybe 200$ isn’t a lot of money to other people but when you’re trying to save money to move and also buy a car, it’s money that could go towards more important things. I don’t really regret my decision to buy the stuff that I bought but I know that in the future I need to do better budgeting and planning. I don’t want to foolishly spend money that I should be saving. I’d hate to be 200$ short of what I need for my savings! That would be really bad.

I feel so bad for Jordin Sparks. I was reading online the other day that she has been struck with a career-threatening throat injury. The reports say that she’s suffering from an acute vocal cord hemorrhage and that it’s forced her to cancel several dates as the opening act on Alicia Keys’ tour. They said that if she doesn’t take the time out now to rest her vocal cords and let things heal that she will be risking permanent vocal cord damage. Ugh. I know that must be killing her. Not only because she’s a singer and that’s her gift, but it’s also her livelihood. I pray that she makes a speedy recovery and gets to join AK on tour soon!!
