Beautifully-Human

I just realized that I haven’t really cooked dinner at all this month. Usually I cook a few times but I can’t even remember the last time that I cooked. It seems like Gram has been doing most of the cooking. My mom has definitely done her share as well but I haven’t cooked in about 15 days straight. Hehe I guess they don’t ask me to cook because I’m always talking about dieting. The funny thing is they don’t seem to realize that I still eat most of what they cook. LOL I do really want to diet but they keep making such good food. I’d have to use some kind of diet pills or exercise to help me lose weight because I can’t do it by not eating. Maybe I should check out more information on Fentraphen. But that will have to wait until after dinner! LOL

I really hate our living room. It’s so ugly and lacks style. My biggest problem with the living room is the paint, the furniture and the decor. LOL. OK, so that’s pretty much everything, I know. First of all I hate the paint color. It’s plain and bland and leaves so much more to be desired. Then there’s the furniture. It’s big and clunky. I would prefer more stylish furniture with nice neutral colors. Last but not least is the decor. It’s way too neutral. There is just too much black and too many “blah” colors. I would prefer colors that POP. Maybe some warm oranges or blues. We could also use some new lighting. Maybe even some of those home theater sconces. That would make the room look a lot more stylish!

I was watching this cool program on the Green network and they were showing how they recycle cars. It was pretty interesting to see what they have to go through before they can even have the car ready to be recycled. Even the process of stripping the car of its parts seemed really grueling and time consuming. I guess that’s why when you’re looking for a spare engine, a/c compressor, or anything else you can expect to pay a little money for it. After seeing the whole process of how companies acquire used products and make new products I can see why certain products cost as much as they do.

Are the Olympics over? I think they are. I’m pretty sure I slept through the closing ceremonies. I’m am so over these Olympic games. The only thing I got out of these games is a slight disdain for the Chinese government. I’m so over China. Whatever. The only thing I really concerned myself with was the US basketball team which did really great. In fact our boys won the gold in case you haven’t noticed! In the past I used to look forward to the Olympic games but never again. Things are definitely not like they used to be. I can’t stand the way a lot of things happened in Beijing. If I was China I wouldn’t really be that proud. Just saying…
