Challenging Myself…
I was reading online about the three week challenge and I really wanted to participate in it, but I decided to do my own challenge. Mine will be about twice as long. I know the idea of the 21 day challenge is that it takes about 21 days to form or break a habit. Well, I believe it said something about it taking at least 21 days of consistent action for whatever habit you’re trying to create or break to become natural.
So if you’re trying to lose weight, eating healthy and working out for 21 days straight will make it easier for your body to continue that habit. I guess. I believe that. I’m sure that may not be true for everyone, but I’m willing to give that a try. I think the most important thing is to be consistent. I’ve tried to lose weight in the past and I’ve done pretty good. I just have to stay focused. Which is why my challenge will differ slightly from the three week challenge. I need something tailored to my personality, needs and goals in order to lose weight successfully.
