My Old Yard…
I’ve been living in my current home for a long time now, but sometimes I still miss my old house. I don’t really miss the house itself, but I miss a lot of the things that I could do in that house that I can’t do in this one. One thing that was great about my old house is that it had a huge backyard. I really don’t think much about the yard until it starts getting warm out, so I guess it’s coming to my mind now that spring is right around the corner. That’s when I remember how we used to have really awesome parties and cookouts in that yard. It was great. All the family would come by and half of the neighborhood! Our cookouts were the talk of the street!
That’s what I miss most about that house. That and the garden. My gram used to love to plant. We had all types of beautiful flowers in the garden. My favorites were the different color roses. I used to love when they would bloom. We didn’t have a garden pond with a garden pond filter system, but the garden was still pretty nice.
