Meatless…
I can’t believe that I’ve been a vegetarian for over six months. I never thought I’d be able to give up meat and stick with it. I’ve tried so many times in the past to stop eating meat, but I was never able to stop. Then one day I just said no more and that was the end. Of course I’m not really sure if giving up meat has made any difference in my health or life because I still eat a lot of the wrong things, but I’m happy that I decided to do something and stuck with it. I even inspired my mom to give up meant in January. I’m so proud of her too. Unlike me, she still eats fish though. It’s cool though. Considering how addicted she was to chicken I’m just happy she stopped eating meat at all.
One thing I was worried about when I became a vegetarian is proper nutrition. I didn’t want to miss out on anything that I really needed for my health. So now in addition to taking multiple vitamins, my mom and I also take a ton of other vitamins. I’m not sure if they’re all necessary, but at least they can’t hurt!
