OK, I’m going to continue with my list of ways that stores will trick you into spending more money. The first way is by putting shopping carts near the entrance of the store. The second way is by putting important stuff in aisles far away from the entrance. The third way is by putting stuff that you buy on impulse near the checkout counter. The fourth way that stores get you to spend more money is by putting the name brand products where they’re easy to see and access. For instance, the Honey Nut Cheerios are at eye level, located on the front of the shelf, where as the Honey Nut Tastee’os are located on lower shelves or way in the back. I’ve noticed this a lot when I shop, because I’m not against buying store brands. That’s how I roll, yo.

When it comes to drug rehabilitation, sometimes I think I’m an expert on the subject. Of course I know that I’m not, but I think I’ve read more about it than any other person that I know. I think it’s because a few people close to me have battled addiction. This is especially beneficial to stores if you have your children with you. If a child is getting restless in the checkout line, there’s a greater chance the parents will buy the child a candy bar or something in exchange for their good behavior. So clever.
