It’s A Job…

I’ve been complaining a lot about my job lately, but I think things are starting to get a little better. At least right now they are. I have the type of job that goes really great some months and then other months it’s pretty unbearable. No matter what happens though, I’m thankful to at least have a job. I know so many people who are out of work and would just love the opportunity to work and make money. I just wish my job had more stability and benefits. It could be at lot worse though.

Another reason I’m thankful for this job is the flexibility. You can’t beat that. It is a little stressful though. Not as stressful as some jobs; such as doctors, lawyers, clowns, construction workers, etc. Lol. People who work in those fields must really love their jobs. Sometimes I envy people who have construction jobs because they typically make good money, but then I think about the heights, climbing ladders and working in the heat and I see why they make so much!

Tired Of Splitting The Room!

I really hate the office section of my room. Since I’ve been working from home my room has pretty much become cluttered with a lot of junk. Looking at my room it’s hard to tell exactly what purpose it serves. If it weren’t for the bed and dressers it wouldn’t even resemble a bedroom. That’s why I’m looking forward to moving to a bigger house. I need a dedicated office. I really hate sharing my office with my bedroom. It’s kind of convenient because I can literally roll out of bed to do work, but it’s just too much stuff around me.

When I finally do get a bigger house I hope to have a small office next to my bedroom, but I’ll even settle for a huge bedroom that can be sectioned off. I was checking out Hon office furniture and it really made me look forward to what I can buy for my office when I actually have the space. I’m so excited!

Tired Of NJ…

My mom and I have been talking about moving a lot lately. I’m so happy that she’s starting to see that things will never get better where we’re at now. She’s thinking more along the lines of moving to another part of New Jersey, but I would rather just move far away from here to be honest. I’ve lived in New Jersey all my life and I’ve had my fill of it. This state really has nothing good or special to offer. And everything is so expensive!

It seems like we have the highest rates and prices for so many things. Car insurance, taxes, etc. And they keep raising the prices of everything, but the job pay still stays the same. Which isn’t saying much because the job search in New Jersey is hard. You almost always have to settle or stay out of work. I don’t think the job search is much better in other states either, but at least the cost of living is lower in a lot of places.

A Place In Pennsylvania…

One of the places that I would love to move to most is Pennsylvania. I’m not sure why, but I’ve always wanted to live there. My Goddaughter currently lives there with her mom (my cousin), so it would be great to move closer to her. Where I live in New Jersey really isn’t too far from Pennsylvania so I could move there and still be close to my family that lives here. I don’t think I’d want to live in the same city as my Goddaughter. She lives in a very secluded place where you have to drive if you want to get around. That means I’ll have to learn to drive or stay home all of the time. Blah.

I would like to move to a part of Pennsylvania that has more things going on, but not somewhere known to have a lot of congestion. Maybe a town that’s in between her town and Philadelphia. That would be cool. I’m sure a Philadelphia job search would be a lot easier than a job search in the town she lives. That town doesn’t look like it gets much business of any kind.
