Family Franchise

I have been thinking a lot about opening a new art site. Now that I’ve gotten into painting, not just computer art, I want to expand things a little more. I’m thinking about selling some of the stuff that I make as well. I’m not sure how successful that will be since everyone and their mother has an online store, but I think that there could be a place for me as long as I have something different to offer.
I think it’s funny that my family is so creative and all of us would love to have our own type of business, but no one has the money or opportunity to make it happen. If only one of us could get our foot in the door it could probably help everyone else. You never know though. Maybe the future will bring the family a few different franchises. That would be awesome. I just hope mine has something to do with art, design or music!
Choosing Insurance

After typing that blog about needing life insurance and health insurance it made me think. I wonder how many people in this world have auto insurance coverage but not life or health insurance coverage. I know there are a lot. If I wasn’t so afraid of driving I would probably have car insurance too. I guess that’s because more people think about driving then they think about getting sick or dying. I can’t blame them though. I would rather think about auto insurance coverage too. Besides, that’s something that comes in handy daily for most people.
Document Management

Having a small business is a lot of work. Although my mom and I have a nonprofit things can still get overwhelming at times. We are constantly trying to find ways to improve the overall function and operation of our company to make things easier on us and the people that we help. This summer we are finally taking our company online. I’m sure that will bring its own share of issues.
I honestly believe we could use some kind of document management system. We need something like the “Tina” engineering document management system to help us organize our data and documents, especially now that we are expanding. We have never looked into project and document management software before, but I am willing to try it if the company offers a free trial and detailed information on how it can help us be more efficient the way “Tina” does. That software sounds extremely helpful to engineers.

Comparing Deals Online

I really love how easy it is to find a deal and save money on the Internet. No matter what you are looking for, you can find it online at a good price. I really saw the truth in that when I saw that they were selling caskets online. I remember being a little freaked out about that at first, but then it dawned on me that people still need to save money on things like that.
I like using the Internet to comparison shop most of all. It’s so easy to find the best deals on necessities like car insurance when you can just get car insurance quotes right online. No need to call a bunch of places or run around to different car insurance agencies when you have the Internet.
