A while ago a posted a video by Leona Lewis called “Footprints in the Sand”. The video was done to promote and support the charity Sport Relief in the UK. A few days after that video was released another Leona video hit the web and I completely forgot to post it here. This video is for her song “Better In Time”. I love this song! It’s one of my favorites from her album. The description for this video also said it was done to promote and support the charity Sport Relief in the UK, but I’m not sure because it looks more official. Either way it’s a gorgeous video. I hope you love it as much as I do. Don’t forget to buy my Leona’s album when it comes out in the US.

My love Leona has a new video! It’s not an official video for an official single, but I still love it. The video is for Leona’s song “Footprints in the Sand” and it’s being released in the UK to benefit a charity called Sport Relief. The video is very stripped down and definitely pulls on your heart strings. Check it out below. Leona looks gorgeous, as usual!

National Memory Screening Day
October 31st, 2007 @ 11:30 pm

I’ve blogged in the past about Alzheimer’s disease and how devastating it is, but there are ways that you can help yourself and your loved ones fight against it. The Alzheimer’s Foundation of America is part of a great collaborative effort known as National Memory Screening Day, that was created to encourage appropriate intervention for people who may become victim to this disease by promoting early detection of Alzheimer’s disease and related illnesses.

The purpose of National Memory Screening Day is to provide free confidential memory screenings, educational materials and resources to people who have a history of memory loss or are generally concerned about it. It’s an annual event that’s held each November with many organizations and healthcare professionals across the U.S working together for one purpose. You can find a screening site near your location by visiting NationalMemoryScreening.org.

If you or your loved ones have been experiencing memory loss or warning signs of dementia, you should definitely participate in this free screening. If you’d like to know if you should be screened for memory loss, visit the website. While you’re there, check out the information about Successful Aging. There’s valuable information that you can pass along to your friends and family.

Also, if you’re able to, consider making a contribution to the Alzheimer’s Foundation of America. This great organization works all year long to search for a cure, raise awareness and provide quality care for people with Alzheimer’s disease.
