Roses? Seriously?!

Hey guys, I wanted to share this video with you that one of the artists I subscribe to on YouTube posted. She actually posted this video on my birthday (January 16), but I’m just now getting a chance to post it. It’s incredible! This girl is seriously one of the most talented people I’ve ever come across. She made this whole picture out of roses! I was floored. She does stuff like this all the time though. Celebrating My Paintings!

I’m so happy! I recently decided to start painting again after I bought about 30 bottles of acrylic paints and I recently completed two paintings. Honestly, they aren’t all that great, but I do love them. I love them most of all because they aren’t perfect. I love painting that are awesome and perfect and professional-looking, but I also love paintings that are odd, weird and random-looking.

I think my paintings are a little bit of all those things. I’m so proud that I tried something and stuck with it. I almost want to break out some cigars to celebrate. I can’t wait to see what my next painting will be!

Lovers Redux

I think I posted a video of this guy one time on my Tumblr, but I definitely had to post about him on here as well. The video I posted on Tumblr was of him painting Jill Scott. This is one of his newest painting called Lovers Redux. It’s of Sade and it’s pretty amazing. I feel so inspired and in awe after watching his videos. They really inspire me to get out of my funk and start being creative again. I love how all of his painting from this series have a similar feel to them. I definitely want to do something like this in the future. Loves it!!!

Need Those Nails!!!!

I love this guy! He does the best makeup videos. I know. Moving on… I came across this video on his site and I’m definitely buying this stuff to try these out. If you don’t know by now, I have a major obsession with nail polish and design, so I’m looking forward to experimenting with different polishes and tools. For the most part I buy polishes and draw my own designs or I use the little stickers, so it will be cool to see how this stencil thingy will work for me. I have to remember to buy some Art Deco or get a small polish brush for designs. Check out his video!!
