Celebrity Rap Superstar

I don’t know if you guys have been watching Celebrity Rap Superstar, but it ended this week and Shar won! I’m so happy for her. I’ve been pulling for her since day one. It came down to Shar and Kendra, but Shar was definitely the better rapper. Kendra had a great swag, crazy personality and a sexy image, but she sucked when it came to rapping. Shar was great at rapping and singing, so it was definitely nice to see her perform every week. I think people also liked the fact that she took shots at Britney whenever she would perform her original songs. She said things like “It’s Shar, Bitch”, and “They should have gotten me to open the VMAs”. Or something similar. At any rate, I’m glad she won. It was much deserved. Finally, talent won out of sex. I still love you, Kendra!

Tyra’s One On One With Britney

By now I’m sure all of you guys have seen Britney Spears’ horrible MTV VMAs performance, but what you may not know is that after the show Britney sat down with Tyra Banks for an emotional heart to heart. We all know that Tyra has a way of getting your favorite celebrities to reveal things about themselves that they never have before. Tyra’s show just began a new season and she wanted to sit down with Britney to try and see where her head is at. She also hoped to leave Britney with some priceless advice that she could use to grow. Watch a preview of the upcoming episode below. It’s compelling television.

Cabinet Refacing

I have this really great cabinet in my room that has been in my family for a while now, so I’m looking to refurbishing it. I watch a lot of design shows and I’ve learned some pretty good tips about making old furniture look new again. I would definitely have to sand the wood down and put a nice finish on it. Maybe I can even paint it over. I’m going to have to replace the cabinet hardware, because it’s very old and damaged and wouldn’t look very nice on my updated cabinets. Wish me good luck with my project.

We’re Toolbelt Divas

My mom and I are huge fans of the television show Toolbelt Diva. Before we started watching that show, we never thought much about fixing things around our home. However, since we started watching it, my mom can’t stop looking for things to fix. She’s even talking about helping me redo my bedroom. I told her now that we’ve got the “fix it” bug, we need to get some tools and supplies. It’s great to know how to fix things and want to fix things, but if you don’t have an body shop supplies to fix stuff with, it’s pointless. I guess next we’ll be surfing sites like handsontools.com on a daily basis. Gotta love it!
