There is nothing more satisfying than watching a grown man cry. If it comes after a long-winded, poorly conceived rant about some long-winded conspiracy theory, it is even more satisfying. Although even most conservatives feel Glenn Beck’s opinions are unreasonable and way out there, they may still tune into watch his Fox News on their satellite television from www.direc4u.com/direct-tv-deals.html. Antics such as using Jenga to explain the national debt help convey this image.

The short-haired slightly overweight person who can cry on demand! may not always make much sense, but I absolutely love whacked out conspiracy theories. If you watch his show, you can easily see him featuring into movies like National Treasure and the Da Vinci code. If you’re a long-time science fiction fan, you can easily see him as a character in the Illuminatus Trilogy or Schroedinger’s Cat.

In the interest of complete honesty, I should mention that I can only take his show for so long. His misunderstanding of net neutrality and what it means irritates me. If he’s going to be right on at least one thing, he could at least look up what the phrase actually means so he can learn why net neutrality is a bad thing.

A song that you hear often on the radio: The radio? What’s that?! I honestly can’t even remember the last time I listened to the radio. Wow. It’s probably been at least five years though. And that’s a conservative guess. I have listened to the radio on the computer for a few minutes in the last year or two, but that’s about it. I can’t even remember what song was really big when I used to listen to the radio. Although, whenever I watch music videos it seems to be a Nicki Minaj video on, so I assume that’s all they play on the radio as well. Eh. That’s probably why I don’t listen to the radio anymore!

I Love Hip Hop

I really love the hip hop culture. I’m not a fan of a lot of the negative stuff that rappers portray, but the hip hop culture itself is very beautiful. I love the urban art most of all. I like to see graffiti and street art. I also love a lot of the music. I really don’t enjoy hearing profanity or misogynistic lyrics, but I love how creative a lot of hip hop music is.

Besides the music and art, I also like a lot of hip hop clothes. I think guys look really nice in jeans and T-shirts. Especially if the jeans aren’t sagging! That’s not cute to me. I think if more naysayers were presented with a positive image of the hip hop culture they would love it too.

A song that you used to love but now hate: Hate is such a strong word! I don’t think I could ever hate a song once I loved it. But there are countless songs that I used to love a lot and just got sick of. Sometimes I wonder why I even liked them at all. The first song that comes to mind is “Stars are Blind” by Paris Hilton. I remember I had a weird obsession with that song when it first came out. It was even one of my most listened to songs on Last.fm at the time.

I tried to listen to that song the other day and it just wasn’t happening for me. I feel the same way about “Shake Ya Body” by Tyra Banks. I loved that song when it first aired on ANTM. I don’t hate it now or anything, but it’s definitely not something I listen to anymore!
