Knowledge is Wealth

Over the years I’ve seen different business seminars promoted on television and have always wondered what it would be like to go to one. I was checking out the website for the Wealth Expo conference that’s taking place next week in New York and a few of the planned keynote speeches caught my eye. I can imagine how beneficial this seminar will be for investors wishing to learn how to build their wealth.

The Wealth Expo gives you the opportunity to speak one on one with executives from private and public companies as well as view exhibitions by them. It’s a perfect way for you to network and make business contacts with people who can take you further in your career. The knowledge that you’ll receive from this event is priceless if you can apply it to your life to increase your wealth.

The Wealth Expo is sponsored by MyWallSt.net: Your Financial Social Network. The three day conference will take place Oct 19-Oct 21, 2007. The first seminar will be held on Friday 10/19 at 1 p.m.-6:30 p.m. EDT. There will also be a cocktail hour to follow. If you can’t make that seminar, another one will be held on Saturday, 10/20 at 9 a.m.-6:30 p.m. EDT with a cocktail hour to follow. The final seminar will take place on Sunday, 10/21 at 9 a.m.-4 p.m. EDT. You can register by visiting the website.

Family Fish

I love fish. I know a lot of people are not big on it, but I love it. In fact my family has a fish night about two times a month. My Gram will go to the fish market and get about 20$ worth of the best fresh fish that she can find. Whenever we have fish it makes me think about when I was growing up how I used to always go fishing with my aunt and uncle. I always really enjoyed the time that we spent at the lake. I was mostly along for the ride, because I didn’t know much about fishing bait and fishing tackle, but it was still a fun time. If you ever get a chance to go fishing, you should. It’s a great lasting memory for my family.

Saying No To Hannah
October 4th, 2007 @ 2:34 pm

Remember the other day when I blogged about how fast tickets to the ‘Hannah Montana’ concert were selling? Most of the shows were selling out in about four minutes. One ticket to the Charlotte, North Carolina show even sold for 2,565$. A lot of parents started complain and crying foul, so the Attorney General has called for a full investigation of a few websites that sell tickets. Good. I don’t know why anyone would pay so much to see some 14 year old girl lip syncing. If I had a child that would not be happening. My Goddaughter better be content watching ‘Hannah Montana’ on television, because there is no way that I’d pay that much for ONE ticket.

Doing My Part For Alzheimer’s Day
September 21st, 2007 @ 5:56 pm

I’ve blogged a few times about World Alzheimer’s Day and I really think I need to take my own advice. It’s such a great event and I want to do my part to help the Alzheimer’s Association. Sometimes I feel that my contribution is too small so I’ll talk myself out of doing something, but in this case I think every little bit really does help, you know. I think I’ll go ahead and make a small contribution online. I would love to donate to someone who already has a Purple Party or something set up, but I don’t know of anyone. At least I can donate on the website and have my donation matched.
