When my aunt was in my town visiting us for Mother’s Day she got stranded over here because her car stopped working. I’m not exactly sure what the problem was but it had something to do with her car not being able to start. She thinks it’s an electric problem because the window wasn’t working and then water was getting into the car. Eventually it burned the car out. She’s so frustrated with the car that she just wants to buy a new one. I think that’s a bad idea. The car works perfectly except for that problem so I’m not sure why she doesn’t just find out what kind of auto parts it needs and take it to a mechanic. It seems to me that getting a new car is just a waste of money.

Happy Mother’s Day to all of the mother’s out there. Mother’s Day is one of the very few holidays that I buy into. Yes, I know it’s probably just another “Hallmark Holiday” and I don’t need a reason to celebrate my mom, but it’s nice that she gets her own day. I can’t wait until I become a mother so that I can enjoy this day as well. Our family is having a big Mother’s Day celebration today at my home. That should be fun… NOT. I’m kind of looking forward to the food and seeing my family, but I’m not looking forward to the noise and the damage the children are going to do to my home. Hopefully everyone will have a good time and my home will survive. I hope you guys have a great day as well!

I’ve been cleaning my room all weekend and I’m so happy about how it’s turned out. The only thing I’m sad about is the fact that I don’t have a lot of space. I need so much more space than I have. In fact, I just had to give my aunt my Elliptical trainer because I needed more room in my bedroom. I really didn’t want to do that but I had no choice. I wish I had a spare room to store my fitness equipment in but I don’t. Hopefully one day in the near future I’ll have a place to store all of the fitness equipment that I want. But for now I have to make due with what I have.

Today my cousin came over to visit and he saw a really nice cross that my mom had and asked if he could have it. She said yes and gave it to him. He was really happy to get the cross necklace. She then remembered that she had a few of my aunt’s necklaces from when she past away. She gave two of them to my cousin and he really got overwhelmed with happiness. Not only was he happy to get the designer jewelry that belonged to my aunt, he was even more thrilled because the necklaces have her initials on them which he also share. It was really nice to see my mom give something to my cousin that meant so much to her. I’m always amazed by my mom’s generosity.
