It’s Good To Be A Nurse!
November 13th, 2008 Posted 4:49 am
My mother has been in the nursing field for over 10 years and she loves it! I’ve never given much thought to entering the medical field but seeing how happy it has made her all of these years has really inspired me to consider making nursing my profession. What I love about the medical field is that there are so many different things that you can do. And now it’s even more convenient than ever because you can take online classes!
I was browsing the Saint Xavier University Online website and I was surprised to find out that they offer a Master of Science in Nursing – Clinical Nurse Leader program. If you already have a bachelor’s degree from an accredited college this program could be perfect for you. I love that the coursework can be completed online because that makes it easy for people with full-time jobs and busy lives. I think most people would love to go back to school to further their education if they knew how convenient online courses can be!
And don’t think just because you’re taking classes online instead of in a classroom that you’re being shortchanged. Saint Xavier University Online offers high quality graduate programs that are overseen by qualified instructors. If you’re seeking advancement in the nursing profession, why not check out the online MS nursing program. Not only is it fully accredited, it’s convenient!
Protecting My Thoughts

Lately I’ve been giving a lot of thought to starting a diary. I don’t think I’ve written in a diary since I was a teenager. And even then I never did it consistently. There has been so much going on in my life lately and I really think that having a diary will make things much better. It wont necessarily make my struggles easier but hopefully it will help me to see where I’m going wrong and where I’m going right. The thing that I notice about myself is that I make the same mistakes over and over again. Maybe seeing those mistakes in front of me will help?
I also like the idea of having a diary so that I can look back on it years down the road and see how much I’ve changed. I’m trying to decide if I want to start writing in a diary or keep a private online diary. Also I’m trying to figure out if I want to start the diary at the beginning of next month or wait until next year. Hmm. I think I should buy a diary with a lock and fasten it to the bottom of my bed. LOL. I wish I could do that with ball lock pins for extra security! I don’t want people in my business!!
Where’s My Starbucks!!!!
September 23rd, 2008 Posted 7:46 am
It’s about 7:30a on a gorgeous Tuesday morning and I’m already spent. I went to sleep pretty early last night but I don’t think I really got a good night of sleep. I don’t know what my problem is. Ever since I was sick for the past two weeks my sleep pattern has been really thrown off. For the past two weeks I found myself sleeping about 16 hours every night. It was so weird. I usually get about that much sleep in a week, not a day. Now that I’m starting to feel better I’m hoping that the fatigue will go away and I’ll have more energy.
I’m usually a morning person but trust me these past two weeks I haven’t been an ‘anytime’ person. Last night I think I got about 5 hours of sleep but right now I feel really groggy. I feel like those people that you see in the morning rushing to work. The ones that will run you over on their way to get their cup of Starbucks coffee so that they can get that pick me up! LOL That’s the kind of pick me up I need. Where’s my Starbucks coffee this morning!!!

No Car? No Problem!!
September 20th, 2008 Posted 4:39 am
I’m probably one of the few people in this world that would turn down a free car if it were offered to me. I hate driving! In fact I hate riding in cars. I’m definitely not a car person. Actually, I’m not a fan of cars, trucks, planes, trains, boats, bikes, etc, etc. I’m not sure why I hate moving vehicles so much but I do. It’s pretty funny because I also hate walking. I’m most happy when I’m standing still. LOL. It seems safer.
For as long as I could remember I’ve never liked moving vehicles. It also doesn’t help that I’ve experienced a few traumatic events involving cars and trucks. That probably accounts for my fear. Whenever I tell people that I don’t drive they automatically think it has something to do with the high gas prices or high insurance rates, but that’s not the case.
Even if gas prices were lower and I could find cheap insurance on one of those auto insurance compare sites I still wouldn’t want a car right now! I might change my mind later though. LOL
