A Bad Bed Means Bad Sleep
March 1st, 2010 Posted 10:55 pm
I can’t wait until my mom gets her tax refund check. This year she’s buying me a new bed. I’m so happy because I really didn’t want to pay for it myself. Actually, she’s buying a new bed set for both of us. I’ve been planning to buy a new bed set for a while now because I’m allergic to the bed that I have. I’m not sure what the mattress is made of or what’s inside of it, but for some reason I always itch when I sleep on it. It had gotten so bad that I had to put my mattress in a huge plastic bag, a vinyl bed protector and a cotton mattress protector just so I wouldn’t itch.
After seeing all of those news specials when they talk about people reselling mattresses and doing weird things with them I’m scared to think what’s in my mattress. We’re planning to get our beds from a popular mattress place this time, so hopefully the quality will be better. I don’t want to have to keep buying allergy bedding because I can’t sleep on my mattress without breaking out. That’s not good at all. =/

Dark and Saggy Eyes
February 19th, 2010 Posted 11:37 am
I watch a lot of makeup tutorial videos on Youtube and the one thing that many of the girls doing the tutorials have in common is that they always mention having to cover up the dark circles under their eyes. In most cases I can’t really even tell that they have them. I never cared about covering dark under eye circles in the past because I didn’t really have that problem. Lately though, it seems as if I do. I think mine are becoming more prominent on my face because I have bags under my eyes from not sleeping. Bags plus dark circles is not a good look, trust me.
If I was the type to wear makeup I would probably try some of the tips for covering up dark circles, but since I’m not I’m probably going to have to use old school tricks like placing cucumbers under my eyes. I was reading hydrolyze reviews and this product claims to get rid of dark circles. I guess I can try a cream if cucumbers don’t work.

I’m Over The Snow…
February 19th, 2010 Posted 11:17 am
It’s a mess around my neighborhood. The other day it snowed and it left about another few inches on the ground. People are kind of tacky and they don’t clean up their property properly, so a lot of that snow has turned to ice now that the temperature has dropped. That’s what I hate most about snow. It’s pretty when it first starts falling and landing, but then the reality starts setting in. Pretty white snow turns into dirty white snow, then dirty white snow turns into dangerous sheets of ice, which later melt and create huge puddles and flooding. I hate snow!! I want out of New Jersey now. I need to find some Outer banks foreclosures that are for sale. North Carolina sounds a lot better than New Jersey!

It’s Not Completely Dead…Yet!
February 1st, 2010 Posted 10:41 am
I think I finally got my mom’s computer working good. It’s not as good as it used to be, but it is running a lot more efficiently since I performed a PC restore on it. Doing the PC restore was not easy, let me tell you! When I did it on my computer it was quick and painless. However, since her computer is an older model and operating system the process was different. I had to restore her PC to factory settings using the CD instead of the Dell image thing. That meant once the computer was restored nothing worked. Ugh.
I had to go to different websites and download drivers so that simple things like the audio could work. I didn’t have to do any of that with mine. I’m glad I was able to figure things out though. All that’s left to do now is to buy her an external hard drive for all her music. She has so much music and it wont all fit on her internal hard drive. I also want her to have an external hard drive so that I can back up her important files in case the computer goes crazy again!
