Uniquely Furnished
January 20th, 2012 Posted 11:03 pm
I really love unique furniture. I think some of the best furniture is stuff people wouldn’t normally use. Like log furniture! That’s so much fun. If I could meet a husband with one talent, it would be the talent to build things. A carpenter perhaps? I love homemade furniture but I’m so uncoordinated that I would dare not use a saw or anything sharp for that matter. I couldn’t began to tell you how many wounds I’ve suffered because of scissors and razors! Imagine a saw. Yikes!
But yeah, one day I want to furnish my home with completely random and unique pieces of furniture. I’m talking a single pedestal Amish dining table, log bed, metal side tables, the works! And the funny thing is, I’m crazy enough to make it all work since people expect weird stuff from artists!

Inked
December 6th, 2011 Posted 5:55 pm
I don’t know what it is about my printer but that thing can really suck up some ink. Or maybe I’m being duped by the place that I typically order my ink from. When I order my ink cartridges, they claim to be full and promise to print at least 100 pages, but that never happens. One time the ink only lasted about 14 pages. I hate that!
That’s why it’s best to get your laserjet ink cartridges from a reputable website instead of Ebay! At least that way you know what you’re getting. The next time I purchase ink I’m definitely ordering it from a website I can trust. I want to be able to get exactly what I pay for. No more half-empty refurbished ink cartridges for me!!

Natural and Organic Products
November 8th, 2011 Posted 8:47 am
Since I’ve become obsessed with natural hair I’ve been buying tons of natural products to make my own hair creams. I bought a pound each of raw Shea, African and cocoa butter, as well as natural and essential oils. Since I’ve been making homemade hair products my hair has been much healthier and softer. I haven’t perfected anything yet, but I really like what I’ve created. I also bought a pound of African black soap to use on my hair and skin.
Organic African black soap is so awesome. It’s great for facial imperfections. I really want to try the mango African soap to make homemade shampoo. I wash my hair with my bar of African black soap, but that can be difficult at times. I think it will be so much better to make liquid soap from it. Honestly, if you have bad skin and blemishes, or you just want a natural soap, order or pick up some Organic African black soap. You won’t regret it. Make sure it’s organic though. It should resemble the picture below. It’s not actually the color black.

My Favorite Flowers
October 20th, 2011 Posted 10:17 pm
When I was with my ex-boyfriend I used to be obsessed with a certain flower because it was his nickname for me. Now that we’ve broken up (not recently) I’m starting to dislike that type of flower. It’s sad because they are so beautiful! Now I’m really obsessed with cherry blossoms and tulips. I love them both for different reasons. I think tulips are more romantic though. I see way more Valentine tulips than cherry blossoms. Tulips remind me so much of roses in a way.
It’s funny because as much as I love both types of flowers I’ve never actually seen either in real life, just online in photos. If someone were to give me flowers for a special occasion like my birthday or Valentine’s Day, I would definitely love both. Maybe my future boyfriend will give me tulips and cherry blossoms! Just as long as he doesn’t nickname me either! I don’t want to grow to dislike them too.
