Not Watching The Time…
July 29th, 2010 Posted 12:22 pm
I’m starting to think that I’m the only person in the world over the age of 21 who doesn’t wear a watch. I used to wear a watch when I was in school, but I haven’t worn one since then. That probably seems strange since watches are pretty much a necessity for every day life. I don’t believe I’ve ever come across an adult who doesn’t wear one. However, I think as I get older and have more responsibilities I don’t want to be constantly reminded that time is always running out. Or that there are never enough hours in a day to do what I want to do.
Besides those reasons, it’s honestly not necessary for me to wear a watch. I’m almost always near a clock throughout the day. And when I’m not, it’s fun to annoy people by constantly asking if they have the time. =) With all that said though, if someone is willing to buy me a spiffy new Blancpain watch for Christmas I’ll definitely wear that every day!

Not Just For Pregnant Women?
July 14th, 2010 Posted 2:07 pm
I’ve been taking vitamins for a while now, but it wasn’t until after I became a vegetarian that I really realized how important it is to take them. I eat a lot of fruits and vegetables, but I always feel like I’m missing out on important vitamins and nutrients. I try not to go crazy buying a bunch of vitamins that may not even be necessary but sometimes I can’t help myself. I never think a multivitamin is enough.
Lately I’ve been giving a lot of thought to purchasing an over-the-counter prenatal multivitamin. No, I’m not pregnant and I don’t intend to be any time soon, but I know several women who aren’t either and they take prenatal vitamins. They swear by them because they say they’re the best vitamins you can take for complete nutrition, skin, hair and nails. That’s why I’m buying them. All of these women can’t be wrong!

Cheated On Ink!!
July 14th, 2010 Posted 1:31 pm
Why is it that you always run out of printer ink when you’re least expecting it? The other day my cousin called me and asked me to print her car insurance payment receipt and I agreed, only to realize that my printer was completely out of ink. This always happens to me. The last time I purchased printer ink I bought one of those refurbished deals from online. Big mistake. No one can convince me that printing less than 20 sheets of tax documents will use an entire ink cartridge.
I think the cartridge was partially empty when they sent it to me. I guess I can consider this a learning lesson. I will never buy refurbished ink ever again. Not for my printer or copier. If I ever find myself needing 108r00727 ink sticks I’ll be sure not to buy them used from an auction site! Official retailers are the way to go!

The Best Is Worth It…
July 8th, 2010 Posted 12:03 pm
Getting healthy is extremely hard! Well, it’s not really hard, it’s mostly expensive. Anything that claims to help you get healthier costs a fortune! For instance, I can buy a bottle of soda pop for 50 cent, but a bottle of water (which of course is healthier for you) costs a dollar or more. I can buy a candy bar for 60 cent, but a granola bar costs twice as much. And granola bars aren’t even that healthy! I can definitely see why people are so unhealthy. It costs too much to get healthy.
I really don’t mind spending a little extra to buy weight loss shakes, vitamins and things of that nature as long as I see or feel results. The best supplements on the market typically cost more than regular products. It’s just the way it is. As long as the “best supplements” are truly the healthiest, I’m willing to pay a little more for them.
