Music Bug

I subscribe to a ton of musicians on YouTube, and every time I watch an acoustic video I’m bit by this music bug. It’s a music bug that tells me I should learn to play the guitar or piano like I’ve always wanted to. Then the reality of how hard it would be to learn to play an instrument sets in and I’m talked out of the idea. I really wish I could gather the nerve to at least try. It’s something that I think about so much.

Realistically, playing the guitar would be better for me since I don’t have the money or room for a piano. Although buying a Roland keyboard would be a great option since keyboards are way more convenient than a piano. Hopefully I will get a chance to learn to play at least one of my favorite instruments before it’s too late.

I got an e-mail on my phone this morning that there was a big stationery sale on-line. When I came home, I logged onto the site using my clear wireless internet connection and got all of my family’s birthday gifts handled for the rest of the year. I went to town. I ordered my mom and my sister a personalized post-it note set with about fifteen hundred post-it notes for only twenty bucks! Post-its will be good for them too, because they are both so forgetful. If they don’t write it down, they won’t remember. I ordered my mother-in-law the same thing. They came in pink so they were extra cute! I ordered my husband and my dad some embossed note cards and personalized legal pads. I ordered my father-in-law something a little different. He loves to take pictures and I found a novelty card that had an old camera at the top of the note card. I just can’t wait for everything to come in. I think that everyone will be really happy with their birthday gifts this year because they are so thoughtful!

Uniquely Furnished

I really love unique furniture. I think some of the best furniture is stuff people wouldn’t normally use. Like log furniture! That’s so much fun. If I could meet a husband with one talent, it would be the talent to build things. A carpenter perhaps? I love homemade furniture but I’m so uncoordinated that I would dare not use a saw or anything sharp for that matter. I couldn’t began to tell you how many wounds I’ve suffered because of scissors and razors! Imagine a saw. Yikes!

But yeah, one day I want to furnish my home with completely random and unique pieces of furniture. I’m talking a single pedestal Amish dining table, log bed, metal side tables, the works! And the funny thing is, I’m crazy enough to make it all work since people expect weird stuff from artists!

Inked

I don’t know what it is about my printer but that thing can really suck up some ink. Or maybe I’m being duped by the place that I typically order my ink from. When I order my ink cartridges, they claim to be full and promise to print at least 100 pages, but that never happens. One time the ink only lasted about 14 pages. I hate that!

That’s why it’s best to get your laserjet ink cartridges from a reputable website instead of Ebay! At least that way you know what you’re getting. The next time I purchase ink I’m definitely ordering it from a website I can trust. I want to be able to get exactly what I pay for. No more half-empty refurbished ink cartridges for me!!
