Music: Reminding Me Of A Place
October 14th, 2010 Posted 1:47 pm
A song that reminds of you of somewhere: Any of the songs from The Sound of Music! When I was in school all we used to do in music class was watch that film. I believe we watched in every year from 5th to 8th grade. Good times! Not only was the film great, but it was cool to waste 45 minutes watching that instead of doing actual work. Also, our music teacher was like 60 and half deaf, so we pretty much used that time to do whatever we wanted. Man those were awesome times. You don’t realize how good things are at the time, but I definitely miss those days of just having fun and no real responsibilities. I wish I was “Sixteen Going on Seventeen!”

Watch Nothing Instantly!!
April 9th, 2010 Posted 10:32 am
I’m currently a member of Netflix, have been for a while now. While I generally like the service, there are a few things about it that bothers me. The main thing is the Watch Instantly feature. I love this feature most of all, but I hate that there aren’t enough movies that interest me available. Maybe I’m too picky or something, but out of my whole queue only about ten percent of the videos can be viewed online. That stinks. I also hate that there aren’t a lot of good television shows available to watch instantly. Maybe it’s because I have high standards for movies and TV shows.
I don’t like the movies and TV shows that most people are interested in. I’ve never seen Ugly Betty, True Blood, Bad Girls Club, Grey’s Anatomy, Lost, etc. And I rarely watch “popular” movies. I’ve never seen, or have any interest in seeing movies like Harry Potter, Avatar, those vampires, etc. I’m more interested in independent films, movies with strong female leads, heartwarming films, musicals, and family movies. Lol, at least that’s what Netflix says.

Forget Halloween!!!
October 30th, 2008 Posted 12:42 pm
I can’t believe how many scary movies have been on the past few days. Every time I check my listings there is another scary movie on. Funny thing about that is that it never occurred to me that Halloween is Friday. I was wondering why there were so many scary movies on but I didn’t even think about it being the week of Halloween. That just goes to show you how much I don’t care about these holidays. I find it so funny that people always wait until October to start watching those crazy movies. Is it a way to get you in the Halloween spirit? I guess people do the same thing with Christmas. I always know when Christmas is near because there are always so many Christmas movies on. I guess whatever works for you. I’ll be spending my Halloween at home watching normal television shows and listening to normal music! I don’t think the kiddies will be stopping by here for candy.

Is Wall-E Really That Good?
July 9th, 2008 Posted 2:11 pm
If I hear one more person talking about Wall-E I’m going to scream!!! Is that movie really that good? Judging by the previews my first thought is that it looks pretty lame but a lot of people are raving about it, saying how great it is. The funny thing is that most of the people going to see it are adults. That alone kind of intrigues me but I don’t think I’ll be able to see it anytime soon. I am however thinking about going to see that new monkey movie. I think it’s called Space Chimps… or something. Anyone who knows me knows that I love monkeys so I definitely want to see that movie when it comes out this month. I might just have to catch Wall-E when it comes to DVD!
