Is Wall-E Really That Good?July 9th, 2008 @ 2:11 pm
Tags: DVDs, monkeysIf I hear one more person talking about Wall-E I’m going to scream!!! Is that movie really that good? Judging by the previews my first thought is that it looks pretty lame but a lot of people are raving about it, saying how great it is. The funny thing is that most of the people going to see it are adults. That alone kind of intrigues me but I don’t think I’ll be able to see it anytime soon. I am however thinking about going to see that new monkey movie. I think it’s called Space Chimps… or something. Anyone who knows me knows that I love monkeys so I definitely want to see that movie when it comes out this month. I might just have to catch Wall-E when it comes to DVD!

So Many Sex and the City FansJune 3rd, 2008 @ 5:52 am
Tags: womenAm I the only person in this world who hasn’t seen the Sex and the City movie? It seems as if no matter what website I go to they’re discussing the movie. I haven’t really had a desire to see the movie because I barely watch the television show but the suspense is starting to kill me. I want to see it too!! I wonder if the movie is made in a way that if you’re not a die hard fan of the show you can still enjoy it. Since I’ve only watched season one of Sex and the City the series I might be a little lost. Maybe I’ll catch up on it and then see the movie when it comes to video? Maybe not?

Horton Hears a BrownMarch 24th, 2008 @ 8:38 am
Tags: childrenJust when I think that the entertainment world is shifting from catering to children there comes a movie that proves me wrong. I was checking out this weekend’s box office results and the number one movie in the country was “Dr. Seuss’ Horton Hears a Who!” The computer-animated fable that features the voices of comedians Jim Carrey and Steve Carell took in about $25.1 million dollars. Not bad for Easter weekend. The Tyler Perry movie “Meet the Browns” came in at number two with $20.0 million. I’m really happy for Tyler because I love his movies. I can’t wait to see “Meet the Browns” soon!

Caption ThatJanuary 7th, 2008 @ 11:25 pm
Tags: servicesI was checking out some movies online the other day and I came across a lot of Spanish movies that I want to see. Sometimes I hate that I’m not great at speaking and understanding other languages. A lot of the movies that I want to see have subtitles, but there are many that don’t. I wish there was a way that I can have subtitling added to every foreign film that I want to see. You know how when you’re watching a movie or television show you can just turn on closed captions? I wish you could do the same for subtitling. Some movies offer that option but many don’t. I’m telling you, if they did that for all foreign films, a lot more people would watch.
