So Many Sex and the City Fans

Am I the only person in this world who hasn’t seen the Sex and the City movie? It seems as if no matter what website I go to they’re discussing the movie. I haven’t really had a desire to see the movie because I barely watch the television show but the suspense is starting to kill me. I want to see it too!! I wonder if the movie is made in a way that if you’re not a die hard fan of the show you can still enjoy it. Since I’ve only watched season one of Sex and the City the series I might be a little lost. Maybe I’ll catch up on it and then see the movie when it comes to video? Maybe not?

Horton Hears a Brown

Just when I think that the entertainment world is shifting from catering to children there comes a movie that proves me wrong. I was checking out this weekend’s box office results and the number one movie in the country was “Dr. Seuss’ Horton Hears a Who!” The computer-animated fable that features the voices of comedians Jim Carrey and Steve Carell took in about $25.1 million dollars. Not bad for Easter weekend. The Tyler Perry movie “Meet the Browns” came in at number two with $20.0 million. I’m really happy for Tyler because I love his movies. I can’t wait to see “Meet the Browns” soon!

I blogged the other day about Angie’s new movie Beowulf, and guess what? It’s number one! Ha. I love her. I seriously don’t get that movie though. I did a little investigating and apparently it’s 3D. Ahhhh. I was wondering why she kinda looked real, but not. I’ve been trying to catch all of her movies now that I have Netflix, but I seriously doubt that I’ll ever be adding Beowulf to my queue. It’s still too weird for words. If you have no idea what I’m talking about, Google it! It’s really crazy. There were some other movies that did pretty good this week too, but I honestly stopped reading after I got past Angie. You’ll have to Google that as well.
