Youtube Phase Out

I found this video really interesting so I wanted to post it to spread the word. I love the way Youtube is now. I don’t want it to be completely taken over by large corporations. I don’t mind new features but I think Youtube should continue to be about giving a platform to people who normally wouldn’t have one.

I Want To Travel!!!

I was thinking of posting a blog about my biggest regrets of 2008 but then I realized that there were so many. LOL. But one of my biggest regrets is not getting to travel last year. I read about so many different places that I wanted to visit but I didn’t have the opportunity to visit them. One of those places is Branson Missouri. I read great things about what a vacation in Branson Missouri has to offer and I have to tell you, I was pretty surprised! There’s so much to do there! I love all of the great lodging options as well as the attractions that Branson offer.

I’m kind of a museums buff so I would definitely love to check out the Hollywood Wax Museum, Ripley’s Believe it or Not museum and the World’s Largest Antique Toy Museum! I’ve never been to a wax museum before and I would just love to visit one! I’m not really a fan of thrill rides, but boy does Branson offer a lot of those! I’m much more interested in the water rides, Go Kart track and Miniature Golf courses that they have. I love it!

With all of the affordable vacation packages that Branson Getaways has to offer I’m sure that if I start saving money now I can afford a great vacation by the time the weather breaks. There are packages that fit every need. Both couples and families. You can’t beat that!

Thinking Positive!!!

Hey look, it’s 2009!!! I guess I should take the time out to wish everyone a happy new year. I hope this year brings lots of great things for you and your loved ones. My new year hasn’t started off too great but it’s OK because it’s only January 4th. I still have over 11 more months to turn things around! I’m trying my hand at positive thinking this year because thinking negatively takes way too much time and energy. I’m trying to keep in mind that as long as I have breath in my lungs I can still make a change for the better. Hopefully that positive thinking will open some doors for me. Think positive! I haven’t been watching much TV lately so I’m not sure what I’m going to be doing with this site but I do have a few ideas. We’ll see. Anyhoo, once again I wish you a happy new year!

An Occasional Mama

My cousin was here the other day with her baby and he’s gotten so big! He’s huge. He kind of resembles a ball with hair. So cute. He’s about 7 months and he’s starting to stand up and get into everything. I love babies so much at that age. Seeing children that small almost makes me want to have a few of my own. That feeling only lasts a few minutes and then the reality of how hard it is to care for a child sets in and I’m over it!

That’s why I love being a Godmother so much. It’s kind of like being a mother but way less stressful. I do a lot for my Goddaughter and I provide for her, but it’s definitely not the same stress you get from having to deal with a child day in and day out. I’m thinking about maybe being a Godmother to another child. I’d love a little baby that I can spoil. I can spend time with the baby, buy the baby personalized baby gifts, and when they baby gets too be too much I can give the baby back to the mama! I love it!!
