Are the Olympics over? I think they are. I’m pretty sure I slept through the closing ceremonies. I’m am so over these Olympic games. The only thing I got out of these games is a slight disdain for the Chinese government. I’m so over China. Whatever. The only thing I really concerned myself with was the US basketball team which did really great. In fact our boys won the gold in case you haven’t noticed! In the past I used to look forward to the Olympic games but never again. Things are definitely not like they used to be. I can’t stand the way a lot of things happened in Beijing. If I was China I wouldn’t really be that proud. Just saying…

I really love my mother. She’s the best. She knows I’m not feeling well today so she goes out of her way to do things to make me feel better. She always does that. I’m so lucky to have a mother who’s so considerate and loving. Sometimes I talk to people online or off and they complain about their parents and I’m just so happy that I can’t relate. I wish everyone could have a mother as sweet as mine.

I think we’ve definitely gotten even closer as I’ve gotten older. Although we joke around a lot and she’s my best friend in this whole world there’s still that respect. She’s my mom and that’s how I treat her. I don’t treat her as a girlfriend. Maybe that’s why we are so close. She treats me with so much respect as well. It’s nice to know someone has your best interest in mind AT ALL TIMES. I would do anything for her! I would even buy the moon for her if I could. I’m so cheesy but it’s true!! LOL I should show her this entry!

When I look around my bedroom one thing that I really miss are my pictures. I used to have a ton of pictures all over the walls in my bedroom but when I went through my “I’m grown, this room is too juvenile” phase I took all of my pictures down and never put them back up. Now when I look at my walls there’s this huge empty feeling. I was thinking about putting a few pictures around my computer station but then I would feel like my desk is too cluttered. I need a way to display my pictures in a cool way and still save a lot of space.

There are so many creative frames that hold multiple pictures so that’s definitely an option. I’ve also seen some pretty cool digital photo frames online that I might like. I like the idea of using a digital photo frame because they offer more features than standard frames. Hmm, I really have to think about this!

I noticed a while ago that I have a huge pimple on my chin and I hate it. Maybe it’s not as huge as it feels but to me it seems massive. I think it’s so funny that whenever I have a pimple on my face it always feels so huge but when I look at it in the mirror it’s barely noticeable. I guess it’s the stuff under the skin that makes it seem bigger than it really is. If you’ve ever seen acne commercials than you probably know what I mean. I’m really going to try not to pop this pimple but it’s so hard to resist. These things are so painful and ugly at times and you just want them gone as fast as possible. Maybe Zeno can help me? I’ve always noticed that putting a hot wash cloth on my bumps seem to make them feel better. I guess Zeno would be perfect then.

I really like lingerie. I know that sounds random but it’s so true. And no, I don’t have a significant other so I’m not buying it for anyone else or anything. I really just like buying it for myself because it makes me feel nice. I love to do nice things for myself and that’s definitely one way that I make myself feel good. If you’ve never taken a warm bath in scented bubbles with scented candles beside you and then slipped into a beautiful night gown or some other lingerie you’re missing out!! Trust me ladies, it’s awesome. It’s nice to go to a lingerie store on or offline and buy corsets, but it’s also nice to buy stuff you enjoy wearing for yourself as well. Try it!
