My mother has been in the nursing field for over 10 years and she loves it! Oh man guys, I had a really rough weekend. I haven’t had a weekend this bad in a long time. Not only did I have it bad physically, but I also had it bad emotionally. I just don’t have the tolerance to deal with anything anymore. I really think I’m going to go crazy! I was talking to my friend last night and I was telling him how much I could use a vacation. I need a break from life. I haven’t been anywhere fun all year long and I want to do something before this year comes to an end.

A few people around me have gone on vacation to several different places but I wasn’t able to go with them because of other financial commitments. Can you imagine how bad it feels to miss out on trips to Chicago, California, Florida and Las Vegas!!! I’ve never stayed in a vegas hotel before. That would have been so much fun!

I love the news today. There was a 50/50 chance that I would wake up today hating the news all day long, but I love the news today! I went to sleep last night with a huge smile on my face and today I woke up the same way. It feels great! I haven’t smiled like this in about 8 years! LOL. That’s all I have to say about that! I know everyone is blogging about the Presidential election so there is no need for me to do that, but I just wanted to type how happy I am. I’m so happy that my vote (along with millions of others) really did make a difference. It’s such an amazing feeling. I feel like I can take over the world!!! OK, maybe not. But I do feel like certain things will improve in my life because of what happened at 11p last night. Despite some people trying to take away my joy, I’m happy!

For all those of you who don’t know, I’m a huge basketball fan. I love the sport! I’ve been a basketball fan since I was a little girl. Of course my favorite basketball player growing up was Michael Jordan but since then I’ve been a huge Allen Iverson fan. I’ve loved him through all of the team changes over the years. I kind of feel excited that he’s now in Detroit because they’re such a great basketball team. I’m hoping that with this team he can finally get a ring before he retires. I don’t think he’ll retire until he gets a ring and Detroit seems like his best chance.

I thought it was kind of sad that he had to lose his famous #3 by signing with Detroit. He’s been #3 throughout his whole career and now he’s #1. I know that may seem like a stupid thing to worry about but he’s really famous for being #3!! I can’t imagine purchasing Allen Iverson sports gifts with #1 on it. It just doesn’t seem right to me! LOL
