Computer Insurance?!

I really love my computer, but I’m disappointed that my warranty is going to end soon. I’ve had pretty good luck with this computer for the past few years, but if I know anything about computers, I know that they always break as soon as the warranty runs out. I had an opportunity to extend the warranty a little longer, but I felt that the cost of the extension was a little too high for me. I wish I was able to get insurance for my computer. I was checking out this website that actually offers insurance for all types of computers.

When I first saw the link for student laptop insurance I thought it was a joke, but you can actually get your computer insured. I wonder if it works the same way as a warranty works. I’d like to have additional protection for a new computer in case anything happens that’s not covered by the warranty. I think I’ll look into that when I buy my next computer.

Make My Building Metal!!

I complain a lot about living in New Jersey, but there is one thing that really makes me love living here. That’s the weather. Of course I hate the summer months when it’s hot, but I would hate that about any state. I love that we don’t really get bad weather in New Jersey. Fortunately I’ve never had to experience overwhelming snow storms, hurricanes, tornadoes, earthquakes, or anything really severe.

That makes me happy because I’m scared of all of those things. In fact, I’m even afraid of thunder and lightning. I literally cry sometimes if it’s too bad and I’m all alone. If I lived in one of those states that have to deal with earthquakes and stuff I would have to live in a metal building. I know metal buildings can’t protect you from everything, but I would definitely feel a lot safer.

Playing In The Rain

I really wish that it would rain. I can’t even remember the last time I’ve seen rain. There’s something about the rain that’s really calming. Especially on a nice cool night like tonight. I remember when I was younger I loved the rain so much that I would do everything that I could to be able to sit outside while it was raining. I’ve never been a fan of thunderstorms but I do love light rain showers. It’s nice to sit outside and feel the rain splash right beside you. Now that I’m older I realize playing in the rain isn’t the smartest thing to do. Now the only time I go outside in the rain is when I have to cover things with the outdoor furniture covers. After that I’m right back in my dry house!

LifeLock for your Protection?

The other day my cousin received a letter stating that she had won 5,000$. When she went to the bank to cash the check she discovered that she was a victim of identity theft. Identity theft is something that effects millions of people every year and there are companies such as LifeLock that are trying to help protect consumers. Although consumers might appreciate that, credit reporting services aren’t too happy about it. In fact one of the largest credit reporting services in the world is suing to prevent LifeLock from doing its job. They claim that LifeLock doesn’t follow protection laws, but what they don’t tell you is that lifelock costs them money by issuing consumers fraud alerts. I don’t know about you, but I’m on the side of the company that’s willing to protect my interest. Who’s side are you on?
