Two years ago my mom was diagnosed with a bad heart. Her heart often races and has rapid palpitations. The scariest part is that she can go into cardiac arrest or have a Heart Attack at any moment. There’s a website, InsideCardiacArrest.com, that provides people with information so that they can better understand sudden cardiac arrest and the potential dangers of it. Although my family lives with this fear every day, I will admit that there are a lot of things that I still don’t understand about the heart. Inside Cardiac Arrest is a great resource to check out if you’re like me.

Warning About Aqua Dots
I found out about this product called Aqua Dots a while ago and I was considering buying it for my Goddaughter as a birthday present because it looked really cool. After reading this report on MSN today, I’m so glad that I didn’t. Apparently Aqua Dots is being recalled because seven more U.S. children were sickened after ingesting the beads. I don’t know why any child who’s of age to use the product would ingest it, but that’s besides the point. It’s being recalled because if the product is ingested the chemical metabolizes into the “date-rape” drug gamma hydroxy butyrate. When that happens children can experience breathing problems, mental confusion, loss of consciousness and even death. That’s so insane. If you’ve bought this product you should definitely throw it away.
A Pet Trust
I read an article only a few weeks ago about the millions of dollars that Oprah plans to leave her dogs in her will. A lot of people mocked her and called her crazy, but I think she might be on to something. Most people with pets treat their animals like family while they’re alive, why not make sure that you seat provisions for them in the event of your death. It makes total sense. If you’re a pet owner who feels this way about your animals, you may want to consider getting a PetTrustPlus Account. A PetTrustPlus Account gives pet owners the ability to provide direction for the care of your pets in the event of your death.
A PetTrustPlus Savings is the best solution to make sure that your pets will still receive the same financial security that you provided for them. This can include money for food, shelter, and veterinarian care. Of course it makes no sense to leave a pet money, a Pet Trust will allow for a certain amount of money designated by you, to be administered by a person of your choice for the life of your pet. This should be a person that you trust and rely on. Setting up a PetTrustPlus Account takes online minutes and can give you the peace of mind of knowing your pet will always be protected.
What Do I Backup?
I was checking out some Windows tips online and one of the most important tips that they gave was to backup your computer. I’m a little confused by this. I’m wondering if they’re telling me that I should every now and then create restore points for my machine, or if they’re telling me to backup my computer if I start to tweak it. Hmm. I did notice something in my Windows Vista that said I could do a Complete PC Backup. The PC backup is better than the computer restore, because it protects your whole system. It basically creates a snapshot of my computer, which also includes all of my applications, settings, and data files so that if my system ever fails, I can restore the entire system, not just my files. Apparently this option isn’t available for Windows Vista Home Basic or Home Premium, and I believe I have one of those. Booo. I’m still confused.
