Family Limited Partnership

Death is something that I never used to talk about. To even think about the subject would depress me. That was until recently. Over a year ago my mom was diagnosed as having a bad heart condition and suddenly death became a very real subject for me. The heart condition that she has comes with the risk of her heart failing to work at any moment without notice. That really gives you a lot to think about. Although the risk of my mom dying is always in the forefront of my mind, we haven’t really done any substantial planning for if that time comes.

Although I’m over 18 and would be more then capable of handling things if my mom passed away, I would feel more comfortable entering into a family limited partnership with my aunt. My mom and my aunt are best friends and I feel that my aunt has the maturity and wisdom to make great decisions. There used to be a time that a family limited partnership would only make sense to rich people, but I really think things are changing. It’s a great way for my mom to keep control over her finances and her Ministry, but still be assured that myself and my aunt would look after things if the time ever came.

I’ve done a lot of reading about estate planning, so I know some useful things, but if you could use some advice, Morris, Hall and Kinghorn are attorneys that can help. They’re located in Arizona and Nevada and they can provide answers for you and your family, if need be.

A Perfect Time To Borrow

I’m not a huge fan of borrowing money. I don’t think you should borrow money or get loans unless you absolutely need it. About a year ago I fell on really hard times and needed to borrow money to take care of my mother and pay for her medical bills. To me that was a perfect reason to borrow money. If you ever find yourself in a similar situation and you need to take out a loan, do your research. There are many websites that will give you information and tips about how can get cheap loans, secured loans, business loans as well as mortgages. The website Beat That Quote is one of those sites. This website ever offers a great forum and a loan calculator. You can visit Beat That Quote at beatthatquote.com.

Unite Against AIDS Video Contest

When I was in the sixth grade I had to do a report about the effect that AIDS has on children and women. At the time the disease seemed so foreign to me. Fast forward ten years and I know more then a handful of people who are living with the disease or has died from it. It’s so important to educate ourselves as well as the children of this world. It’s a known fact that children and teenagers respond to music and video. That’s why the music video based social network IndieMV - Music+People has joined forces with UNICEF to sponsor a youth video contest that aims to raise awareness for AIDS. The contest on IndieMV.com gives contestants a chance to create their own video statements about the impact of AIDS for a chance to win great prizes such as iPods, Wii’s, gift certificates, a trip to Montreal to see the UNICEF concert on Nov. 28 featuring Avril Lavigne, Sarah McLachlan, Corneille, and Angelique Kidjo. Please check out the information below, visit the site, enter the contest, do anything that you can to support the cause.

Knowledge is Wealth

Over the years I’ve seen different business seminars promoted on television and have always wondered what it would be like to go to one. I was checking out the website for the Wealth Expo conference that’s taking place next week in New York and a few of the planned keynote speeches caught my eye. I can imagine how beneficial this seminar will be for investors wishing to learn how to build their wealth.

The Wealth Expo gives you the opportunity to speak one on one with executives from private and public companies as well as view exhibitions by them. It’s a perfect way for you to network and make business contacts with people who can take you further in your career. The knowledge that you’ll receive from this event is priceless if you can apply it to your life to increase your wealth.

The Wealth Expo is sponsored by MyWallSt.net: Your Financial Social Network. The three day conference will take place Oct 19-Oct 21, 2007. The first seminar will be held on Friday 10/19 at 1 p.m.-6:30 p.m. EDT. There will also be a cocktail hour to follow. If you can’t make that seminar, another one will be held on Saturday, 10/20 at 9 a.m.-6:30 p.m. EDT with a cocktail hour to follow. The final seminar will take place on Sunday, 10/21 at 9 a.m.-4 p.m. EDT. You can register by visiting the website.
