This performance really has me looking forward to the Grammy Awards tonight!!

American Idol Season 8!

So, a new season of American Idol has started and I’m late as usual! To be honest I’ve only watched one episode so far this season. I’m looking forward to this week because it will give me a chance to get caught up a bit. In the past I’ve pretty much always started watching during Hollywood week as well. I know a lot of people like to watch the horrible performances and laugh, but that never does much for me. Don’t get me wrong though, if they’re funny enough they’ll end up on Youtube and I’ll watch them then. Remember that Michael Jackson guy? How could you forget!

I think I might watch this season. I’ve been disappointed with the past couple of seasons but I’m willing to give it another chance. From what I can tell so far I actually like this new judge. I didn’t think I would but she’s cool. If I do decide to watch this season of American Idol I will be recapping it!

Think B.I.G!!!

LOL this video really brings back memories. Watching the movie Notorious really made me miss B.I.G. The movie was pretty good and I think it definitely captured a lot of his essence. I have to watch it again when it comes out on DVD. BTW, this video is of him on Martin a long time ago. It’s funny because I was so young when this came on but I remember sneaking and watching it.

What’s Worse, Cable or DTV!

I received my cable bill the other day and I noticed that they’ve raised the price again. With the new price increase my bill is now almost 90$ a month. I’m not sure if that’s normal or not, but in my opinion that’s a bit much for television. Especially since most of the shows that I watch on cable can also be viewed online. I’m really having second thoughts about keeping my cable.

The only thing that’s stopping me from cutting off my cable as of right now is this new Digital TV transition that’s happening on February 17, 2009. It seems so much easier to keep the cable than to have to worry about buying the right antennas for my televisions. I still don’t quite understand the point of that. I know the POS systems at a lot of stores are going to be getting a lot of work in February because everyone is going to be buying new television sets and antennas.
