Hit The Road

I haven’t been many places in my 20-plus years of living, but there are so many places I would love to go. One place I would love to go is Europe. For some reason I really love that place. I think it has something to do with the people’s accents. They are my favorite. Besides Europe, there are a few places I would love to visit in the United States.

If I had it my way, I would buy an RV, get some RV insurance and hit the road for about six months. I really have nothing tying me down here, so now would be an awesome time to go on an extended road trip. My only problem would be saving enough of money to stop working for that amount of time and finding someone who wants to go with me!

I’d Rather Live There

I have really had my fill of New Jersey. After living here all of my life I am officially tired of this state. I have never been a huge fan of New Jersey to begin with, but the more time I spend here the more I realize how much I hate it. This state doesn’t really offer much in the way of opportunities and everything here is so expensive!

I want to move to a smaller state. A place that has more of a community feel to it. I wouldn’t even mind if I could only stay there temporarily. Like a place to go to during the summer. That would be cool. If I had an opportunity to invest in Outer Banks foreclosures I would. I would love to live in North Carolina!! It has to be better than New Jersey.

Outer Banks Dream Vacation!!

Outer BanksI’ve been saying for a while now that I could really use a vacation and after checking out this amazing house in North Carolina I’m in awe. The pictures of this house on the Carolina Designs’ website will truly make you wish you called that place home. I absolutely love the design of the house. It has an old country charm that you don’t find in many rental homes. I love the beautiful wood decor. It’s funny because If I owned a house like that I would use many of the same furniture pieces. The openness of the rooms are my favorite. Who wants to vacation in a cluttered space!

Outer BanksI also love the large pool. I can just imagine unwinding in that pool after the long and hot summer I’ve had. The only bad thing about staying in a place like that would be leaving! I would seriously have to consider moving to North Carolina after that. If I could stay in one of these Outer Banks vacation rentals I would take my mom and my Goddaughter with me. We’ve all had a pretty rough year so far and I couldn’t imagine a better place to relax and regroup right about now. Check out some more of the gorgeous scenery from the Outer Banks home courtesy of Carolina Designs.

Last Days Of August

August 25th, 2010 Posted 11:47 pm

I’m glad August is winding down. It hasn’t been a horrible month, but it sure wasn’t the best. I’m really hoping that September will be better. One thing I’m happy about is the weather. The weather has been gorgeous this past week. August started off hot and miserable and that’s usually how it ends, but this past week has been so mild. I was even able to sleep with just the window open. Niccee!! Hopefully this month will end without anymore hot days.

Besides the weather, I didn’t care much for August because it was stressful in a lot of ways. Work was OK though for a change. I actually got in a few good hours. I’m surprised! Hopefully my good fortune (concerning work, at least) will continue the way it’s been going or even improve. It would be nice to save up enough of money to do something. I may even have my eyes set on some Branson vacation packages. I’ve never been there before, but it sounds a lot better than New Jersey!
