Jaded City Girl…

I’ve lived in a large city all my life and I really hate it. Spring and summer are the seasons when I hate living in a large city most of all. It’s miserable dealing with a bunch of hot people with bad attitudes. So as you probably can guess, I’m not at all looking forward to summer time. It hasn’t been too bad yet because we’ve only had a few hot days so far this spring. I’m sure things will get worse soon.
If I could move anywhere in the United States I would probably move to a small city or town in a state like Maryland, Ohio, or Pennsylvania. I like those states because they’re either familiar, or not too far from where I live now. I’d rather pay long distance movers to move me a few states over instead of across country to California or somewhere. That seems way too expensive!
Feeling Like Spring…

Spring is definitely in full effect. A day early, but that’s OK. I think I might actually be looking forward to spring. I’m usually not a fan of spring because I know summer comes right behind it, but the beautiful weather is kind of nice. Today it’s supposed to be about 72 degrees. I’m surprised it’s getting so warm so fast. I hope that doesn’t mean that the summer weather will arrive fast! I need to find some fun things to do this year. I’m tired of being bored when the weather is so nice out.
At times like this I wouldn’t mind be a driver. It would be nice to go on a road trip or something. I have this weird desire to go to Chicago for some reason. I’ve never been there and never really had much interest in going there, but lately it’s been on my mind! If I get my hands on a car and some cheap car insurance you never know! I might just hit the road after all.
I’m Over The Snow…

It’s a mess around my neighborhood. The other day it snowed and it left about another few inches on the ground. People are kind of tacky and they don’t clean up their property properly, so a lot of that snow has turned to ice now that the temperature has dropped. That’s what I hate most about snow. It’s pretty when it first starts falling and landing, but then the reality starts setting in. Pretty white snow turns into dirty white snow, then dirty white snow turns into dangerous sheets of ice, which later melt and create huge puddles and flooding. I hate snow!! I want out of New Jersey now. I need to find some Outer banks foreclosures that are for sale. North Carolina sounds a lot better than New Jersey!

A Place In Pennsylvania…

One of the places that I would love to move to most is Pennsylvania. I’m not sure why, but I’ve always wanted to live there. My Goddaughter currently lives there with her mom (my cousin), so it would be great to move closer to her. Where I live in New Jersey really isn’t too far from Pennsylvania so I could move there and still be close to my family that lives here. I don’t think I’d want to live in the same city as my Goddaughter. She lives in a very secluded place where you have to drive if you want to get around. That means I’ll have to learn to drive or stay home all of the time. Blah.
I would like to move to a part of Pennsylvania that has more things going on, but not somewhere known to have a lot of congestion. Maybe a town that’s in between her town and Philadelphia. That would be cool. I’m sure a Philadelphia job search would be a lot easier than a job search in the town she lives. That town doesn’t look like it gets much business of any kind.
