Just when I was starting to believe that the extremely hot August days were behind me, we get a heat wave! Yesterday and today has been about 100 degrees with humidity. Tomorrow will be more of the same. I’m so over this. This is the exact reason that I hate the summer so much. I’ll be so happy when the seasons change. I was hoping September would be better than August, but it’s the first day of the new month and the heat wave is still alive!
I would love to be somewhere cold right about now. I know there has to be cold winter-like conditions somewhere in the world. I need to find that place! When winter actually does come I bet I will probably complain about it being too cold. Lol. But at least in the winter I can just put extra clothes on. Plus if it snows I can whip out the snow tubes. There’s just nothing good about this heat though.
I’ve been thinking about doing one (or a few) of those 30 Day Challenges that they’re always posting on Tumblr. I don’t really use my Tumblr enough to be motivated to post stuff there, so I’m thinking about posting some stuff on my personal sites. The music and movie challenges are the two that I have my mind on for this site since I mostly post random and entertainment related stuff here. We’ll see though!
Oh, I was listening to Pandora and Michael Bublé’s version of “Feeling Good” came on and that made me want to listen to (almost) every other version of the song and I quite enjoyed doing that, so I’m posting my two favorite versions for your listening pleasure!

I’ve been complaining a lot about my job lately, but I think things are starting to get a little better. At least right now they are. I have the type of job that goes really great some months and then other months it’s pretty unbearable. No matter what happens though, I’m thankful to at least have a job. I know so many people who are out of work and would just love the opportunity to work and make money. I just wish my job had more stability and benefits. It could be at lot worse though.
Another reason I’m thankful for this job is the flexibility. You can’t beat that. It is a little stressful though. Not as stressful as some jobs; such as doctors, lawyers, clowns, construction workers, etc. Lol. People who work in those fields must really love their jobs. Sometimes I envy people who have construction jobs because they typically make good money, but then I think about the heights, climbing ladders and working in the heat and I see why they make so much!
I’m glad August is winding down. It hasn’t been a horrible month, but it sure wasn’t the best. I’m really hoping that September will be better. One thing I’m happy about is the weather. The weather has been gorgeous this past week. August started off hot and miserable and that’s usually how it ends, but this past week has been so mild. I was even able to sleep with just the window open. Niccee!! Hopefully this month will end without anymore hot days.
Besides the weather, I didn’t care much for August because it was stressful in a lot of ways. Work was OK though for a change. I actually got in a few good hours. I’m surprised! Hopefully my good fortune (concerning work, at least) will continue the way it’s been going or even improve. It would be nice to save up enough of money to do something. I may even have my eyes set on some Branson vacation packages. I’ve never been there before, but it sounds a lot better than New Jersey!
This blog basically serves as an outlet for me to rant and rave about anything that comes to mind. It's not as personal as my other blog but you can still gain insight to who I am by my opinions.
