I really love watching those house shows on television but they really make me mad. In case you have no idea of what I’m talking about I’m talking about those shows that feature people with more money than you have, looking for property you could never afford. I love watching them but I hate when someone finds a gorgeous home that I would love to buy and I just have to sit there and drool. I keep telling myself that one day that will be me but that’s not helping. I can’t wait for the day to come when I have enough money to buy my dream house. The one thing I love about those shows is that they give me an idea of what is available on the market and how much it usually costs. When I do have the money to buy a home of my own all I’m going to need is a few moving trucks and some boxes. I already know where I want to move to!

Hey guys, can you do me a favor? Get me out of New Jersey now!!! OMG it’s so hot in Jersey right now. I’m so miserable. For four days straight it has been nearly 100 degrees outside. That’s not even including the high 70% humidity. It’s bad enough that it’s so hot but once you add in the humidity you can forget it! It’s just unbearable. I couldn’t imagine living somewhere like Florida or California where it’s always hot. It’s only hot here about three months out of the year and I hate it! I couldn’t deal with this heat every day, day in and day out. I’m not sure I’d even want to stay in Florida or California for a long amount of time. One week is enough for me. Even if I got to stay in one of those condo hotel type deals with air conditioning. I’d have to hide out in there and never go outside. That would be a boring vacation! LOL

I hate living in this old house of mine. There really isn’t one thing about my home that I like. Not one. I hate the location, I dislike the neighbors, I hate the fact that we don’t have central air conditioning! It’s 2008!! You know how bad it is to live in a house without central air conditioning? It’s horrible. Especially with the weather the way it is now. We’ve been having so many high humidity hundred degree days this summer. July is half way over but we still have all of August to contend with. I’m really hoping to be in a new house by 2009. I can’t imagine spending one more year in this home. After nearly ten years of living here I’m definitely ready to call some mortgage lenders and see how we can get a new home for the new year. One that has central air!

I think it’s funny that I talk to a lot of women and most of them say that they lose the desire to eat food during the summer. They say the heat makes them not want to eat food most days. I wish that was my experience. So far my eating habits have been the same this summer as they are during the rest of the year. The only thing that’s different is I have less of a desire to cook because it’s so hot. So for some people that might translate into eating less but for me that just means I eat more of the wrong things. I think I’ve had more fast food this summer than I’ve had all year. That’s definitely not good. By the winter time I’m going to be needing some generic Phentermine to get rid of the extra pounds that I’ve packed on. I can’t wait until the summer is over!!!

Is there anything good to watch during the summer? It seems like the only thing on television to watch during the summer are reality shows. And the reality television shows that come on aren’t even that interesting. Or entertaining. There is just so much foolishness happening on these shows. It seems like every time I turn around there is another show that’s degrading or disrespectful to my race or gender. What’s up with that? I wouldn’t mind the reality shows if they were good. Or somehow uplifting. But there’s just so much you can take. People fighting over lovers and money. It’s a really sad situation. I know I’m probably taking it too serious and should just enjoy the shows but I can’t. They’re too demeaning to me.
